We are a team of parents, caregivers, students, teachers, and staff with various backgrounds, talents, and abilities. Together we explore and create opportunities to help celebrate and lift up our ACMS community.
You...the parent, student, caregiver, staff member and/or teacher, are a vital part to our PTO team each year! We truly could not fulfill our PTO purpose without you!
Somos un equipo de padres, cuidadores, estudiantes, maestros y personal con diversos antecedentes, talentos y habilidades. Juntos exploramos y creamos oportunidades para ayudar a celebrar y animar a nuestra comunidad ACMS!
Usted... el padre, cuidador, miembro del personal y/o maestro, es una parte vital de nuestro equipo de PTO cada año! ¡Realmente no podríamos cumplir nuestro propósito de PTO sin ustedes!

About me: I have an 8th grader at ACMS. As a single mom and business owner, I never had time to volunteer at my daughter’s elementary school. Then middle school came along and talk of a school dance was a hot topic in our household. I went to a PTO meeting to learn more about how I could help with a dance and the next thing you know I am VP and planning a dance!

Sobre Mi: Tengo un estudiante de octavo grado en ACMS. Como madre soltera y propietaria de un negocio, nunca tuve tiempo de ser voluntaria en la escuela primaria de mi hija. Luego llegó la escuela secundaria y hablar de un baile escolar fue un tema candente en nuestra casa. Fui a una reunión del PTO para aprender más sobre cómo podría ayudar con un baile y lo siguiente que supe fue que soy vicepresidente y estoy planeando un baile!

About me: My son is now an 8th grader. Beings part of the PTO has helped me learn so much about Alder Creek and I feel excited to be in a community of other parents that want to make each school year special for all of our children, teachers, and staff. We work hard to celebrate and support everyone at Alder Creek.

About me: I have an 8th grader at ACMS with another child who just moved up to 9th grade at PHS. Being involved in the PTO is important for me because we need to work together to make our community stronger and safer for everyone. Being a part of a neurodiverse family, it’s a goal of mine to help make sure the intersectional experiences of neurodiverse students have a space to be heard and understood in our schools.
Sobre mí: Tengo un estudiante de octavo grado en ACMS con otro niño que acaba de pasar al noveno grado en PHS. Estar involucrado en el PTO es importante para mí porque necesitamos trabajar juntos para hacer que nuestra comunidad sea más fuerte y segura para todos. Al ser parte de una familia neurodiversa, mi objetivo es ayudar a garantizar que las experiencias interseccionales de los estudiantes neurodiversos tengan un espacio para ser escuchadas y comprendidas en nuestras escuelas.

Our Purpose
The mission of the Alder Creek PTO is to support the Alder Creek Middle School learning community and provide positive social experiences. We strive to strengthen relationships between staff, students and families in our ACMS learning community through active volunteerism, creating educational opportunities, providing social events, and fundraising.
Nuestro propósito
La misión del PTO de Alder Creek es apoyar a la comunidad de aprendizaje de la Escuela Intermedia Alder Creek y brindar experiencias sociales positivas. Nos esforzamos por fortalecer las relaciones entre el personal, los estudiantes y las familias en nuestra comunidad de aprendizaje de ACMS a través del voluntariado activo, la creación de oportunidades educativas, la organización de eventos sociales y la recaudación de fondos.
Elections/Elecciones
All people in the Alder Creek school community are automatically members of the PTO. Each May, a new team of volunteer PTO Board Members are elected from the PTO membership. The Board acts as lead organizers for the PTO. There are seven Elected Positions and several At-Large positions which are created by the Board, as needed.
Todas las personas en la comunidad escolar de Alder Creek son automáticamente miembros del PTO. Cada mes de mayo, se elige un nuevo equipo de miembros voluntarios de la Junta de la PTO entre los miembros de la PTO. La Junta actúa como organizadores principales del PTO. Hay siete posiciones elegidas y varias posiciones generales que son creadas por la Junta, según sea necesario.
